A striking but simplistic, three drawer chest with a limed oak finish, although there is no makers mark, we believe the cabinet was designed by Paul Matt for Brynmawr furniture (Cotswold School)

A stylish and functional piece with clean lines lovely Art Deco details.
A very versatile piece of storage with two drawers over cupboard accessed via double doors. The cabinet features clasic Brynmawr stepped design to the drawer fronts, lovely ebonised handles with a distinct art deco design. The drawers are made with single plank fronts and solid drawer carcasses, joined with hand-cut lap and through dovetails.
We have sympathetically restored this piece to retain its stunning original character. They have been lightly sanded back and oiled resulting in a stunning piece with a rich, warm finish. There are some minor polished in marks as to be expected for a piece of this age.
