A stunning and scarcely seen large, mahogany pedestal desk. Manufactured by Abbess in the 1950s, in a distinct Art Deco Odeon style. These desks were often produced by Abbess for use in Banks and Court Houses.
– Excellent build quality and restored condition.
Constructed from solid mahogany and mahogany veneers. Featuring stunning solid brass curved handles, tooled oxblood leather writing surface, pull out slides to each pedestal. The desk has a clever automatic locking system that secures the whole desk from the central drawer lock - still with original key.
