A very stylish 'New Yorker' high back armchair manufactured by Guy Rogers of Liverpool, Great Britain.

Designed by Eric Pamphilon (Director of Design at Guy Rogers) and George Freyer, together they produced some amazing furniture alongside Harold Dykes & family (owners of ‘Guy Rogers’) who retailed almost exclusively through the ‘Heals’ stores.
A stunning chair constructed from solid afromosia (an exotic hardwood) frame which has a beautiful grain throughout.
In superb restored condition, the framework has been cleaned and re-polished. New Pirelli webbing straps have been added with all foam replaced and covered with a gorgeous & versatile charcoal woolen tweed fabric making it fully compliant to current fire regulations.
