A stunning and very rare 1950s chest of drawers manufactured by Meredew.
A scarcely seen piece, produced in low numbers (we have found one other in all our years of hunting!) this is one of our all time favourite designs, way ahead of its time, a real modernist classic with beautiful offset brass handles and elegantly tapering legs.
Includes Meredew badge inside the drawer and original factory inspection label on the back.
Superb original condition, this piece is in its original condition which is as good as the day it was produced, incredibly well looked after! there may be some very minor polished marks as to be expected for its age, please take a look at the photographs for more detail.
