A stunning, and scarcely seen, set of architects drawers in golden oak finish manufactured in the 1950's by Abbess.

A beautiful piece that can be used to store a variety of items, including artwork, offering a huge amount of storage. It could also work really well as a kitchen island.
These original plan chests have real character and soul, this particular set has a stunning colour and lovely solid oak handles.
The plan chest, splits into three pieces for transportation - two drawer sections and base. The drawers can also be removed.
In excellent restored condition, there are lots of minor polished in marks as to be expected for its age, please take a look at the photographs for more detail. All drawers run smoothly as they should.
Plan chests such as this are becoming increasingly difficult to source.
