One Bay of Mid Century Ladderax Modular Shelving Unit
Sold Out
One bay of Ladderax modular shelving & storage designed by Robert Heal in 1964 for Staples of Cricklewood, London.
– Excellent restored condition
The Ladderax System consists of a number of upright ladders, supporting shelves and cabinets. These are fixed by resting on steel support rods, hooked on to the rungs of the ladders. They fit into grooves under the shelves and cabinets. This allows easily assembly and flexibility. Ladderax does not require any permanent fixing to a wall because it self-supports. If preferred this system can be fixed to the wall as the steel uprights have holes in place.
This sale is for one bay only. We have also shown a photograph of three bays set up as we currently have another listing for two bays which if purchased together could be configured to create three bays as shown in the last photograph.
This system consists of:
X1 Single drawer unit
X1 Glazed display cabinet (with glass shelf)
X1 Standard shelf
X1 Narrow shelf
X2 Black metal ladders
X8 Long metal hook supports rods

This is a real piece of mid-century modern design at its very best with clear influence from the 'Danish School' of design.
