A scarcely seen pair of Mid Century carver (with arms) dining chairs made in the 1950s by Oswald Haerdtl and produced by Thonet. Constructed from Beech and bent plywood and are in excellent restored condition.
At the time of listing we have two of this style (with arms) and four standard (without arms) This listing is for a pair of carver chairs only.
Featuring iconic splayed legs, gorgeous swooping backs and stunning arms. Each chair has been newly upholstered with a striking mustard fabric which contrast beautifully with the rich conker colour of the teak.
The seat pad has been stripped back and replaced with new foam and fire retardant lining before being covered in the mustard fabric to make it fully compliant to fire regulations.
