A very stylish solid teak reclining 'Manhattan' armchair manufactured by Guy Rogers.

Designed by Eric Pamphilon (Director of Design at Guy Rogers) and George Freyer, together they produced some amazing furniture alongside Harold Dykes & family (owners of ‘Guy Rogers’) who retailed almost exclusively through the ‘Heals’ stores.
Manufactured in 1967 as part of his Manhattan range and of the excellent quality expected from this designer.
A stunning chair featuring teak arms, solid teak tapering legs and striking contrasting button back. The chair reclines to three positions.
The teak arms are in excellent vintage condition with a lovely patina, all the internal foam, Pirelli webbing and inners have been replaced then covered with a gorgeous & versatile charcoal woolen tweed fabric and contrasting light grey tweed buttons to make it fully compliant to fire regulations.
