A stunning, vintage oak kitchen larder/cabinet manufactured by Hygena, Liverpool. We believe it dates back to the 1930s
A striking piece of furniture with a true utilitarian aesthetic mainly constructed from oak.
Features include a pull out enamel countertop, zinc drawers, cast iron handles and lovely round vents on the cabinet doors.
The top two sections feature double doors to reveal fixed internal shelves. The lower section consists of a single door shelved cupboard to the left and three graduating drawers to the right.
A very desirable piece, in excellent condition, we have completely stripped the original dark finish from the exterior resulting in a lovely golden oak colour. Lots of polished in marks and scratches as to be expected for its age, please see photographs for more detail. The interior shelves have have been lined with some 1960s paper at some point in its life, would benefit from relining with a paper of your choice or perhaps painting in something such as Farrow & Ball 'Railings'
